9 January 2012 - Driving to Broken Hill

We spent much longer in the car than we had planned today.

Wilcania turned out to be a less than acceptable place to stay. Everything was boarded up and it certainly did not have a nice feel about it, unlike the other towns we have been through. We decided to keep going through to Broken Hill and managed to find a cottage to stay in as our late arrival meant putting up the tent was not practical. Off to explore Broken Hill tomorrow.
